The rotary vacuum dryers are employed for the treatment of the wet cakes coming from filtration and centrifuge. In order to dry these dense pastes the rotary vacuum dryers are combined with the use of vacuum pumps which allow the extraction of the vapours of solvents and the water contained in the products to be treated.

These ones break the possible lumps pre-existing in the mass to be treated and mill the agglomerates that may be created during the process. For bulk products this means an end product ready to be stored, while for the other products this means a checked final particle size distribution.

The rotary vacuum dryers with a cylindrical shape, in Italvacuum called TUMBLE Dryer, are mainly designed for drying processes, mixing and condensing of granulated plastic materials.
