The rotary vacuum dryers are exploited for the treatment of the wet cakes coming from filtration and centrifuge. The Italvacuum rotary vacuum dryers can have both double cone and cylindrical shape.
The rotary vacuum dryers with double cone shape represent the bottonhole of the Italvacuum drying technology, having achieved a success with an International reach: more than 400 units installed from their introduction on the market up to date. The rotary vacuum dryers with bi-conical shape are called CRIOX System: they are equipped with powerful electric lump-breaker groups. These ones break the possible lumps pre-existing in the mass to be treated and mill the agglomerates that may be created during the process. For bulk products this means an end product ready to be stored, while for the other products this means a checked final particle size distribution.
The rotary vacuum dryers with a cylindrical shape, in Italvacuum called TUMBLE Dryer, are mainly designed for drying processes, mixing and condensing operations in the manufacture of granulated plastic materials.
