Italvacuum, a private limited company established in 1939, since the beginning of its history has designed and manufactured vacuum dryers and industrial vacuum pumps for the main production processes of chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
Vacuum dryers are mainly used for the treatment of wet cakes coming from filtration and centrifuge. In order to dry these dense pastes vacuum dryers are coupled with vacum pumps that permit to intake and extract solvents vapours present in the products to be treated.
Vacuum pumps, besides being used in vacuum drying processes, are also exploited in those of distillation, reaction and cristallization.

Italvacuum designs and manufactures both cabinet tray and rotary dryers. These last ones can have bi-conical or cylindrical shape.
Double cone vacuum dryers represent the bottonhole of the Italvacuum drying technology. Equipped with electric lump-breakers in order to powder the product, this type of vacuum dryers, in Italvacuum named CRIOX System, has gained a great international success during the years: more than 400 units installed from their introduction up to date.
Vacuum dryers with cylindrical shape, in Italvacuum named TUMBLE Dryer, are mainly used for drying, mixing and condensing operations in the manufacture of granulated plastic materials.
Italvacuum, besides revamping its vacum pump line, has been recently involved in enhancing and expanding its range of vacuum dryers: new devices for loading and unloading the CRIOX System and a new fast washing system for tray vacuum dryers have been introduced.
Furthermore the approach to innovation that has always characterized Italvacuum drying technology has recently brought to the launch of a new vacum dryer: the Planex System, patented horizontal paddle vacuum dryer equipped with eccentric agitator with two independent movements.
Italvacuum also offers a wide range of accessories designed for both vacuum dryers and vacuum pumps in order to meet all the chemical and pharmaceutical industries’ needs.

Italvacuum has implemented an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System that covers all aspects of the company’s work, from design and production of each individual component to customer service. In addition, given the importance of welding to end product quality, Italvacuum has certified its processes and personnel to ISO 3834-2.
Thanks to continuous quality monitoring throughout the process cycle, vacuum dryers and vacuum pumps manufactured by Italvacuum comply with European ATEX and PED Directives, as well as with the increasingly stringent US FDA standards and cGMP regulations.
