Italvacuum, founded in 1939, since the beginning has manufactured vacuum tray dryers and vacuum pumps, designed for the main production processes of the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
The vacuum tray dryers are exploited for the treatment of the wet cakes coming from filtration and centrifuge. In order to dry these dense pastes the vacuum tray dryers are combined with the use of vacuum pumps which allow the extraction of the vapours of solvents contained in the products to be treated.
The Italvacuum vacuum tray dryers are composed of a heated cabinet drying chamber and a set of shelves also heated through the circulation of liquid. The Italvacuum vacuum tray dryers stand out for the following technical features:

Besides, the Italvacuum vacuum tray dryers have some special locks and “particle-free” trays for the complete recovery of the powders. Italvacuum manufactures two types of vacuum tray dryers: with fixed and with extractable shelves.
Italvacuum has recently introduced on the market a new type of vacuum tray dryers called MULTISPRAY Cabinet Dryer that match the performances of the traditional systems with the possibility of washing automatically the drying chamber and the internal shelves in few minutes and with extreme effectiveness.

Apart from the vacuum tray dryers, Italvacuum manufactures also rotary vacuum dryers, that can be both double cone and cylindrical.
The rotary double cone vacuum dryers, called CRIOX System, are equipped with electric lump-breaker groups in order to obtain fine powders: they represent the pride of the Italvacuum drying technology, having achieved a success with an international reach: more than 400 units installed from their introduction on the market up to date.
The rotary cylindrical vacuum dryers are designed mainly for drying processes, mixing and condensing operations in the manufacture of granulated plastic materials.
The approach to innovation by which Italvacuum has always been characterized, has recently led to the launch of a brand-new vacuum dryer: the Planex System, a patented horizontal paddle vacuum dryer. Thanks to the technical solutions adopted, among which the eccentric agitator with two independent movements for a double combined rotation, the Planex System represents the most advanced drying technology today available on the market, especially suitable for the production of fine chemicals and API.
